Tip of the Week: A Holiday Wish of More Real Estate Leads

Posted on | December 24, 2018

The holiday season brings joy and happiness – but it also brings a little bit of chaos. It’s easy to fall into the trap of routine and comfortability. Stepping out of your comfort zone to approach things with a fresh mind and new ideas is something you should always strive for!

Reaching out and accumulating more listings isn’t always easy – but it’s a great way to secure a sale and gain more experience in the real estate world.

Don’t be Afraid to Call

In order to build your network, you have to be willing to talk to people – you became a real estate agent for a reason! Call your friends, family, past coworkers – anyone and everyone! They might know someone who is looking for an agent and can refer you.

It’s never a bad thing to know one or two local major developers in the area you work in. Reach out with the intention of getting to know them – as well as them getting to know you. Networking is key.

Positive Reviews

After a successful closing, politely ask if your client wouldn’t mind writing a quick review about you – either through your social media sites, or through the company website you work for. Reviews are what potential clients look for; and the more positive reviews you have, the more reliable you seem to a client.

Social Media

Relatability and recognition is key here – building up your followers and your base, advising on the work you do, and giving contact information will never hurt in attracting sellers to help with their listing.

Meet in Person

Try and take your relationship with your client to the next step – meeting face to face. It helps you became more than just a screen – you’re more approachable, relatable, and unforgettable when you meet in person.

The real estate world is constantly shifting and changing – being the successful real estate agent that you are, you understand that you have to mold to what these needs are.
