Each year, the Silverton Property Tour Group gathers food and funds to help stock the shelves at Silverton Area Community Aid (SACA) during a very busy time of year. Today, this REALTOR® group, along with title and escrow and lending professionals, brought in $860 in funds and 248 pounds of food.
During this gathering, additional funds were presented to SACA from an event hosted by AmeriTitle last week.
Rosi Green with AmeriTitle shared, “We treated our clients to a ‘Spuds & Suds’ happy hour gathering at Silver Falls Brewery and Ale House with The Spud Bus as the featured food cart. Our guests were invited to contribute funds for SACA. AmeriTitle provided a match to those funds, which brought us to a group contribution of $853. Many of the people who contributed last week reached into their pockets again to give today.”

Green also noted support from community leaders, “We were very pleased to see that our City Manager, Christy Wurster; Silverton Chamber of Commerce Director, Stacy Palmer; and Our Town Advertising Director, Jim Kinghorn all joined us and personally contributed to the fundraiser. We are very grateful to everybody who ventured out on a dark and cold evening to support a great cause.”
Sarah DeSantis, Executive Director for SACA provided this update after the Silverton Property Tour gathering, “We so appreciate all of the support AmeriTitle and local Realtors have provided to SACA. Your donation from the Spuds and Suds event allowed us to buy all of the potatoes for Thanksgiving and will help us cover the cost of most of the potatoes for Christmas, too. Thank you, thank you! Today, the Silverton Property Tour group brought in $860 and 248 pounds of food. That is awesome! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!”
Out of a deep caring for the community, this group of industry professionals rallied to provide a total of $1,713 in funds for SACA.
